Clarissa Jones Ginger, MA LMHC, NCC

I have nearly 30 years experience working with individuals and groups from children through geriatrics in a variety of settings including rehabilitation, community mental health and home health. I work with children, adolescence, families and individuals to help them achieve their relationship and personal goals. Interventions used include behavioral approaches, cognitive-behavioral approaches, mindfulness, complex integration of multiple brain systems (CIMBS) and Life Span Integration, Gottman approach.

I work with individuals and families dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD/trauma, and family issues. Because of my background in occupational therapy and having a child myself with special needs I have a special area of interest in helping families dealing with the unique challenges of raising children with special needs.

Are you feeling alone?

Are your relationships stressful and out of balance?

Is your family in conflict or dealing with loss?

I congratulate you on taking steps to heal your relationships and yourself.  A wise man said:  “I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for man to depend simply upon himself.” – Lone Man, Teto Sioux.  In counseling you are not alone and I believe that people have the great capacity to change and grow to achieve full and gratifying relationships and lives when given the right support.
